Central Street Banner
Central Street is a concession within Northwestern University’s Welsh-Ryan Arena that went from a vacant booth to a functional concession stand. After touring the location I recognized the need for a banner. The booth was plain, vacant and a needed something more than just digital boards. Using a banner I helped build a brand personality, attract attention to passersby and made ordering food easier. A benefit of the banner is that menu item descriptions are more readable than digital menus as people can look at it close up. Another consideration I made was to break the logo into 2 pieces – featuring the name and icons separately to make more of an impact.
