Central Street
For the revamped concessions at Welsh-Ryan Arena, I had the exciting opportunity to create a concept called “Central Street,” inspired by the nearby street it faces. With the aim to showcase classic American fan favorites, the logo prominently features burgers, hot dogs, and drinks, giving guests a clear idea of the offerings at a glance. To infuse a touch of school spirit, I cleverly incorporated Northwestern University’s athletic “N” into the design, adding a fun and recognizable element.
The strategic use of the color yellow in the logo was intentional, as it is known to stimulate appetites and evoke feelings of happiness and enthusiasm. By combining thoughtful design elements and appetizing visuals, the “Central Street” concept embodies both the essence of the concessions and the spirit of the university, creating an inviting and memorable experience for fans and visitors alike.
