Chicago Eats

During the renovation of Welsh-Ryan Arena, the updated concessions required fresh branding, and one of the concepts I developed was “Chicago Eats.” Embodying the essence of the city, the logo features six-pointed stars, paying homage to Chicago’s iconic flag. To create a unique connection between Northwestern and Chicago, I chose to use purple stars instead of the traditional red.

The logo’s design harmonizes with the chalkboard-style menu, with an eroded font that enhances the overall theme. By seamlessly blending elements of both Northwestern and Chicago, the Chicago Eats logo embodies a sense of pride and unity, making it a striking and memorable symbol for the concession stand.
